Government refuses to cave in to the demands of striking autowallahs. Promises to cancel permits of striking drivers from today
The Delhi government is not giving in. Even as autowallahs threatened to extend their two-day strike, the government said it's not ready to succumb to their pressure tactics. Transport Minister Arvinder Singh Lovely said, "The government will not bow down to their autocracy and will not allow them to harass commuters. Auto drivers will have to follow rules; otherwise their permits will be cancelled."
