Richa, a eunuch (25) was viciously attacked by two men near the G R Kalyan Mantapa in Hebbal at 11.30 pm yesterday.

Richa was walking down the street along with her friend Usha, also a eunuch, who left her side for just a few minutes when the incident occurred.

"I don't even know whou00a0 my attackers were," said Richa, who earns a living byu00a0 begging.

Dr Anil Kumar, the medical officer from Bowring Hospital who treated Richa said, "She has abrasions all over her body, possibly from metal pipes."

R Rajanna, assistant sub inspector, Kodigehalli police station, said no arrest was made.

"The assailants were unidentified, so our first step will be to identify them. This is the first incident of its kind in this area," he added.
