The Bangalore monsoon showers have just descended upon us and the MET department has forecast that rains will hit the city full force in a few days. That means you have a handful of days to hunt down your near perfect home. Though the heat outside might be slightly unbearable right now, it's a much better time to go house hunting than postponing it for later. Here are some reasons why:
Time at hand
You have more time on handu00a0 with the kids just back to school. Once your kids head to school, you will get plenty of time to go house hunting along with managing your regular office work. Your kids will hate to tag along with you to see flats on their days off.
Travel trouble
It isn't really too easy walking through water, mud and slush to see houses in the monsoon. The scene at construction sites is even worse. Not to mention, delayed trains, traffic jams, water logging and such mayhem. Most of the days you won't even find the motivation to go house-hunting.
Lack of availability
Most of the ready for possession as well as under-construction flats will be taken for possession by end of summer as people like to move into a new home just before the rains. Construction activity also comes to a standstill in the rains, further lessening the availability.
