<p>The <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/search/jammu-and-kashmir-articles" target="_blank" rel="none noopener"><strong>Jammu and Kashmir</strong></a> police on Tuesday said that the security forces arrested four associates of militants in Budgam district. The militants are associated with proscribed militant outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba.</p>
<p>A police spokesperson said that the four persons were arrested from <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/search/india-news-articles" target="_blank" rel="none noopener"><strong>Beerwah</strong></a> area of the central Kashmir district.</p>
<p>He identified them as Mushtaq Ahmad Lone, a resident of Gondipora Beerwah, Azhar Ahmad Mir, a resident of Chewdara Beerwah; Irfan Ahmad Sofi and Abrar Ahmad Malik, both residents of Arwah Beerwah.</p>

<p>He said that &ldquo;incriminating materials were recovered from their possession&rdquo;, all of which have been taken into case records for further investigation. A case has been registered and investigation has been taken up, the spokesman said.&nbsp;</p><p>

A police spokesperson said that the four persons were arrested from Beerwah area of the central Kashmir district.
