Puducherry: Puducherry Planning Authority (PPA) has announced that action would be taken against owners of buildings constructed without obtaining its prior approval.

The PPA said in a notification that the Puducherry Town and Country Planning Act 1969 and also Puducherry Building bye-laws and zoning Regulations 2012 stipulate that buildings should be constructed only with written permission from the PPA and its prior approval.
