The Congress on Thursday alleged that the Modi government does not want a debate on Manipur in the Rajya Sabha as it is "obstinate" and following the "my way or the highway" approach.

Opposition I-N-D-I-A bloc members in the Rajya Sabha on Thursday proposed a discussion on Manipur under a rule that requires a resolution to be passed in the House, but MPs of the ruling alliance opposed their demand for the prime minister's presence, forcing an adjournment in the pre-lunch session.
