H1N1 toll rises to 52 in Pune

The H1N1 flu toll in the city upto 52 on Thursday as Five died on Thursday and three who were succumbed on Wednesday were confirmed later as H1N1 positive.

The five who died on Thursday were identified as:u00a0 Kashinath Ghanshetti ( age 40, resident of Baner,u00a0 Pune), Duramma Barthi, (60, Karvenagar, Pune) and Shashikant Bhalerao (17, Parner village, Ahmadnagar district). Sagar Bhalerao (7, Pimpri) died on the late hours on Thursday was the sixth casualty.
