The Bombay High Court today sought to know from the Maharashtra government what steps it has taken pursuant to the Integrated Child Protection Scheme aimed at building a protective environment for children in difficult circumstances.

In 2010, the state government had entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Central Government for implementation of the Centre-sponsored scheme.
