Vehicle skidded off rain soaked road Two Defence personnel suffered severe injuries when the bike they were travelling by swerved off the road in Anand Vihar area of east district late on Thursday night. The victims have been identified as Raj Kumar and Sachin. Police said that both are constables with the Indian Air Force and were returning back home on the bike after work when they met with the accident. "Due to rain the road had become slippery. Though they were driving carefully the vehicle skidded due to the slipperiness of the road. Both were thrown off the bike. They fell on the road and sustained severe injuries. A passerby made a call to the PCR at around 2 am. Police took the duo to Hedgewar Hospital where they are undergoing treatment. According to doctors their condition is critical," said a senior police officer.
