India weather update: Western ghat districts likely to witness rains on Monday, says IMD, cites cyclonic circulation

Weather officials said a low-level cyclonic circulation is currently active over the southeast Arabian Sea and adjoining areas of the Lakshadweep and Kerala coasts. Another low-level cyclonic circulation has also formed over the Comorin Sea and surrounding regions

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted moderate rainfall in some districts along the western ghats on Monday, due to the influence of multiple low-pressure systems over nearby sea regions.

According to the news agency IANS, officials said a low-level cyclonic circulation is currently active over the southeast Arabian Sea and adjoining areas of the Lakshadweep and Kerala coasts.
