The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), in a public announcement on Wednesday, said that the four year long BA/BSc- BEd courses will discontinue from the academic year 2026 and 2027 instead of 2025 to 2026 and would be replaced by Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP).

In a notification, the NCTE stated that the four year long BA/BSc- BEd courses will discontinue from the academic year 2026 and 2027 instead of 2025 to 2026.
