The Border Security Force on Thursday averted a tragedy when they recovered and diffused a landmine near the Indo-Pak border in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir, security sources said.

On information, 112 battalion of BSF rushed to a field in Suchetpur village in the district near the International Border and recovered the landmine, they said, adding it was later diffused safely.
