Kargil Vijay Diwas celebrations begin with patriotic spirit in Shimla, J-K LG Manoj Sinha pays homage to fallen heroes

The two-day celebrations of Kargil Vijay Diwas 2025 began on Friday at the Army Training Command headquarters in Shimla with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit.
The event marks 26 years since India’s victory in the 1999 Kargil War.
The celebrations were officially opened by Lt Gen Devendra Sharma, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Army Training Command, according to an official statement, the PTI reported on Friday.
