Hence, we'll have to push the button of each machine 36 times, which will take time and the results might get delayed."u00a0u00a0u00a0 According to Jagtap, the delay will be caused because of the Wanawadi assembly constituency, which saw a turnout of 1,30,000 voters. "The result may be declared by midnight of May 16," he said. However, not all constituencies may have to wait till midnight. Avinash Hadgal, deputy collector in-charge of the Baramati Lok Sabha constituency said that Baramati's results would be declared in four to five hours after the counting commences. "The results should be out by 1.30 pm. This is our prediction, but if anything goes wrong, the result may be declared late in the evening." "The situation is similar at Maval and Shirur Lok Sabha constituencies. We have trained staff but the procedure is complicated and with so many candidates in the fray if things do not work out as per schedule the declaration of results may take time," he added.u00a0u00a0 In addition to this, postal ballot will also be counted in each constituency and all the results will be sent to the Election Commission online.
