LPG supply stable despite tensions, 4.58 lakh new PNG connections gasified: Govt

The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has assured that LPG supply across the country remains stable despite challenges caused by the current geopolitical situation. The government has also prioritised essential sectors, boosted alternative fuel use, and taken action against hoarding

The government on Thursday said that the supply of LPG to households continues without disruption, even as global conditions impact logistics.
According to the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, online bookings for LPG have risen to 98 per cent, and no shortages have been reported at distributorships. The ministry said, “Supply of LPG to domestic households remains normal… and no dry-outs have been reported.”
