Malvika Iyer’s life story is incredible and nothing short of an inspiration. She is a bomb blast survivor who lost both her hands at the tender age of 13 in a grenade explosion. But the setback did not dither her from taking up challenges and she became an activist, a PhD scholar and a motivational speaker.
Just this week, she posted a series of tweets on her birthday on February 18, reflecting on her life with her positive side. In the tweets, which were excerpts from her speech she delivered at the United Nations, she talks about the mistake surgeons made while stitching back her hand after the grenade explosion and how it became a blessing for her.
