A minor goof-up for not placing dots of seat numbers during State Eligibity Test (SET) became troublesome for students, as despite clearing the examination they are shown not qualified for which such 2500 students have approached the State Eligibility Test (SET) officials to probe it.
Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) is state agency that organizes SET examination and is conducted for the post of Assistant Professorship in the states of Maharashtra and Goa. On April 16, 2017 around 69,186 aspirants who are post graduate students from different streams had applied. The results were declared on August 10 and only 2,710 students had cleared.
