New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday paid tributes to freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev on their death anniversary.

"Salute to Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev who laid their lives for the country. Tributes to these great patriots," tweeted Modi, who is on his first visit to Punjab after assuming office to pay homage to the freedom fighters at Hussainiwala where their last rites were performed in 1931.
