Over 8,200 rooms ready for Commonwealth

At least 8,227 rooms are now ready for the 2010 Commonwealth Games that the national capital is set to host later this year.

Tourism Minister Kumari Selja Monday reviewed the hotel accommodation for the CWG in a high-level meeting that included officials of all land-owning agencies like the Delhi Development Authority, the Haryana government, the Uttar Pradesh government, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC), the Ministry of Urban Development and Delhi Jal Board among others.
