A total of 54 leaders from 51 parties took part in the discussions, which were called by the Central Government to ensure smooth functioning of the session.

He added that other topics brought up included law and order, language policies, farmer suicides, and the struggles of mill workers in Mumbai.
Congress MP K. Francis George also pushed for a full debate on the aftermath of Operation Sindoor, especially whether India's defence forces suffered any losses. He said the opposition would also raise farmers' issues, India–US trade talks, and the situation in Bihar’s electoral roll revision, according to the ANI.
George also mentioned that the Congress would highlight the case of Nimisha Priya, a woman from Kerala who faces execution in Yemen on murder charges.
Meanwhile, in Mumbai, Shiv Sena (UBT) spokesperson Anand Dubey criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for remaining silent on claims made by former US President Donald Trump, who reportedly said that multiple aircraft were shot down during recent tensions between India and Pakistan, as per the ANI.
Dubey said, “Our armed forces are the pride of India. All military chiefs have said there were no losses, but Trump’s comments suggest otherwise. The PM should respond. His silence could lead people to believe Trump’s claims.”
Although Trump did not specify whether he was referring to Indian or Pakistani aircraft, India denied any foreign mediation during talks to end the Operation Sindoor conflict and said any agreement was reached bilaterally.
The all-party meeting was led by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju, who asked both the government and opposition to cooperate and ensure that Parliament runs smoothly throughout the session, the news agency reported on Sunday.
