Some might argue that beaded curtains are like beauty pageants ufffd gorgeous to look at but don't serve any real purpose. Sunita Chabria insists that her dainty beaded curtains are bound to alter your mood, since they come induced with special colour therapy. 
"Blue beaded curtains in your bedroom induce a feeling of calm, like you are sitting by the seaside. Red ones at your workplace help infuse vitality," she says.
Skeptical as we are about self-induced alternative therapies, you might want to give Chabria's curtains a try the next time you are drowning in Monday blues. Her creations come in glass, acrylic, wood, Rudraksha, plastic and metal ufffd glinting off a ray of sunlight and throwing shimmery reflections on a couch or a window nearby.
Some freeze raindrops while others encompass earthy gold tones and add a Bohemian touch.
"Glassy, transparent beads give a room a dreamy look," says Chabria, who is often helped by daughter and actress Aarti Chabria. You can talk to the Chabrias about the space and d ufffdcor of your place, and they will suggest what materials and colours you could use. Hang up these curtains to create a partition between rooms, or put them up by the window to hear them gently tinkle in the wind. "It's easy to change the beads, which means that you can have a new look every year," smiles Chabria.
