Youth Congress member accuses civic body of conducting only 90-mark exam instead of 200, to recruit sanitary inspectors
It has been learnt that the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has been accused of violating norms laid by the state while conducting examination for the post of the sanitary inspector (SI). While the exam was held in April, interviews of shortlisted candidates would be conducted next week. The exam was conducted for 16 vacant posts.
Rushikesh Balgude of the Youth Congress alleged that despite the examination being of 200 marks, the PMC conducted only a 90-mark examination, and even wrote an objection letter to municipal commissioner and other civic authorities.
