A prostitution racket operating here and in parts of the national capital was busted Friday with the arrest of nine call girls and seven men, police said.

"We received information that the Designer Park in Sector-62 was frequented by some pimps and call girls during evening hours. On Thursday night, at about 9.30 p.m., a few of our men in plain clothes went there and finding some men and women behaving suspiciously, made some arrests," a police officer said.

"On further interrogation, they led us to more people. On their information, we raided a flat in Sector-12 and made some more arrests," the officer added.
