Rs 103-crore facelift for 3 WR stations by 2014

Apart from makeover, trains from CST will be able to ply till Jogeshwari and Goregaon as the Harbour Line Network will get extended beyond Andheri

Here comes good news for those who live on the Western line beyond Andheri and have to travel to Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST) on the Harbour line. The Harbour line arm is set to extend till Goregaon by early next year.

The three stations - Andheri, Jogeshwari and Goregaon - are going through a makeover costing Rs 103 crore that is set to give them a chic look with escalators, elevators and multi-storied buildings and is a part of the Rs 5,300 crore phase-II of Mumbai Urban Transport Project (MUTP).
