“Politicising such a sensitive issue”: Maharashtra CM slams Rahul Gandhi over Satara doctor suicide case

The Congress MP had earlier criticised the BJP-led Mahayuti government in Maharashtra, describing the case as a case of “institutionalised murder.” In a post on X, he said the doctor’s death exposes the “inhumane and insensitive” face of the BJP government

Maharashtra Chief Minister (CM) Devendra Fadnavis on Sunday hit out at Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi for calling the alleged suicide of a Satara-based doctor an “institutionalised murder” and accused the Congress of politicising the case, news agency ANI reported.

Speaking to reporters in Nagpur, CM Fadnavis said that the the Congress Member of Parliament (MP) had not considered all the facts before commenting on social media.
