Security increased around JNU after campus violence

Security was increased around the Jawaharlal Nehru University campus Monday, a day after four outsiders were held for allegedly misbehaving with women students and police used batons and teargas to disperse agitated students.
Security was increased around the Jawaharlal Nehru University campus Monday, a day after four outsiders were held for allegedly misbehaving with women students and police used batons and teargas to disperse agitated students.
"Policemen have been deployed in large numbers outside the university campus to prevent any untoward incident. A case has been registered and the accused will be produced in court," said a senior police officer.
