Jamshedpur: A 19-year-old dance teacher was shot dead this evening by an unknown assailant probably for protesting against teasing of one of his students by the accused, police said.

Sumit Gorai, also an intermediate student, was returning home after dropping a student at her residence when a motorcycle borne assailant shot him at Shantinagar under Olidih police station.
