With the absence of traffic lights, the city turns into a chaotic traffic mess after 9 pm, witnessing with many breaches traffic regulations.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (traffic), Vishwas Pandhare said, “The number of vehicles on Pune roads are increasing by the day. Our traffic branch is short staffed and hence we have decided to keep traffic signals on for a longer duration.
This would help us regulate the traffic flow better. We request citizens to follow traffic rules and maintain discipline at these roads.”
