Traffic cops to conduct 15-day road safety drive

Will start traffic awareness programme from today to sensitise motorists about safety on the roads; to use upcoming Marathi movie's title to drive the point home

The city’s traffic police will be conducting a fortnight-longu00a0traffic awareness programme from January 1 to 15, to sensitise motorists about safety while riding or driving on the roads. This time around, the authorities have decided to use upcoming Marathi movie titled ‘Hou De Jarasa Ushir’ (A delay won’t matter much) to drive the point home.

During the 15-day drive, the traffic police will be focusing on spreading traffic awareness through posters and by distributing greeting cards, New Year calendars and screening short traffic-related documentaries in schools, colleges and multiplexes.
