Karimnagar (Tel):&nbsp;A 15-year-old boy here&nbsp;allegedly committed suicide after he felt "humiliated" for not&nbsp;being able to pay his school fee, police said today.&nbsp;
The 10th-grade student, Edula Santhosh Reddy, a resident&nbsp;of Abbapur village in Dharmaram mandal, had recorded a&nbsp;selfie-video narrating the entire incident that led him to&nbsp;take the extreme step, they said.
Reddy, had gone missing from home on September 30&nbsp;following which his parents filed a missing FIR at Dharmamaram&nbsp;police station, said Circle Inspector, Sultanabad police&nbsp;station, Tula Srinivas Rao.
In the meantime, Peddapally Railway police found an&nbsp;unidentified body on the railway tracks at Peddapally station&nbsp;that night, which was later moved to the mortuary at&nbsp;government hospital, Rao said.
During investigations, the body was shown to Reddy's&nbsp;parents, who identified it as their son, he added.
The boy was studying at a private school at Julapally&nbsp;mandal headquarters in Karimnagar.
According to the boy's parents, last Tuesday, the&nbsp;school authorities made Reddy stand outside the classroom&nbsp;along with some other students for long time, as they failed&nbsp;to pay the school fee.
In the purported video, the boy is seen saying he felt&nbsp;humiliated at school for not being able to pay the fees and&nbsp;that is why he was taking the extreme step, police said.
The boy also said that no one is to be held responsible&nbsp;for his death, they added.
Police have recovered the mobile using which the boy took&nbsp;the selfie-video narrating the ordeal, the CI said, adding&nbsp;that the body has been sent for post-mortem and further probe&nbsp;was underway.
