Twenty one employees of NTPC- Ramagundam and one employee from NTPC- Jhanor- Gandhar received the prestigious Vishwakarma Rashtriya Puraskar (VRP) from Shri Mallikarjun Kharge, Hon'ble Union Minister for Labour and Employment at a function in New Delhi.

The 8 employees who received the honour in A category are Kurma M. Mohanrao, Kolipaka Nagesh, Mohammad Osman , Kolani Raja Mahender Reddy, Cheeprichetty Kamalakar, Naini Malla Reddy, Sirisetty Narayana and Mandala Bhaskar Reddy.

The first group of 6 employees to receive the award in C category are P Madhava Rao, DSV Ramana Rao, P Madhan Mohan Rao, B. Veerabhadra Rao, K. Subba Rao, VCHA Naidu.

The second group of 7 employees are K Ramakishan Rao, R. Balaiah, KSN Raju, V Mahender Rao, D Rajesham, B. Purahari and Rajesh Kumar.
