File pic Claiming to be truly pained by the burgeoning corruption in the country, Yeddyurappa said that he would wake up early in the morning and head to the venue. While his supporters may have voiced their approval in unison, others wondered if being nailed by the recently filed Mining Report would deter him from actually showing up. No place here? "What does he think he is playing at? Who is he to offer support to us. This is a movement against him and other such corrupt leaders who try to play with the system to boost their bank balances," said K R Ananth, an infuriated protester. Thousands of protesters shared the same sentiment when news of him 'lending support to the common man' broke yesterday evening. Interestingly, sources close to Yeddyurappa, who has just received summons from the Lokayukta court, claim that the man feels strongly about corruption. "He is a changed man and people do not know what he feels about this movement. He has been following it closely," said the source. Playing it well Yeddyurappa was quick to condemn the government for its actions while addressing a group of supporters gathered at his residence.u00a0"The government was wrong in arresting Anna Hazare and it was absolutely unjustified. I want to join the common man in their fight against corruption," he said. As the news of Yeddyurappa's intention wafted through the sea of protesters gathered at the Freedom Park, the more the disbelief for his audacity grew. "We absolutely reject his support. If he joins the movement, it would be like a complete mockery of our entire movement against corruption," claimed C Jagdish, another protester.
