Crescent Moon, an annual exhibition-cum-sale that's usually held during the festive season in Mumbai, is back this year with 74 stalls showcasing products designed by various entrepreneurs, and a range from various NGOs that will make shopping here clearly more about giving than acquiring. Act Kalpana, an NGO that strives to train disadvantaged women by finding them a source of income, offers candles, bamboos and handmade paper embellished with dried leaves and flowers. Whether you are looking for trays to seat your Diwali hampers, or gift-wrapping paper for Eid ul Fitr presents, gather karma points by picking them up at Akanksha Foundation's stall that display a range designed by underprivileged kids. Aseema, Om Creations, Saathi, Smile and Shraddha Trust are among participating NGOs.
