Amit Shah addresses the gathering during the launch event, alleging that some private transport service companies are cutting fares and operating at a loss to prevent Bharat Taxi from entering the market.

Amit Shah says Bharat Taxi is India's first cooperative-led, driver-owned ride-hailing platform, operating on a zero-commission model that allows drivers to retain the full fare earned from passengers.

Bharat Taxi signs Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, Gujarat State Cooperative Bank, Traffic Police, Ahmedabad and Surat airports, and Western Railway's Ahmedabad Division to expand its services.

Amit Shah says Bharat Taxi has been launched with services for two-wheelers, auto-rickshaws and four-wheelers, adding that the platform aims to ensure fair treatment for both drivers and passengers.

Speaking at the event, Shah announces that Bharat Taxi will expand to Nagpur, Pune, Mumbai, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Jaipur and Kolkata before July 31 as part of its nationwide rollout.
