During the 'Tiranga Yatra,' Amit Shah called on young Indians to commit to nation-building efforts. He highlighted the importance of youth participation in achieving the goal of making India a leading global power by the 100th anniversary of independence in 2047.

Shah emphasised that the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign, initiated by PM Narendra Modi, has become a powerful expression of patriotism. He encouraged every citizen to fly the tricolour on their homes, offices, and vehicles during the Independence Day celebrations.

The 'Tiranga Yatra,' according to Shah, is designed to energise the youth of Gujarat and foster a deep sense of patriotism. The 5km march in Ahmedabad served as a reminder of the nation’s history and future aspirations.

On the occasion, Shah paid tribute to freedom fighter Bhikaji Cama on her birth anniversary. He urged people to remember and honour the sacrifices made by the heroes of India's independence movement.

Shah reiterated PM Modi’s vision for India to become a developed nation by 2047. He mentioned the 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' initiative, which aims to connect every citizen with the country’s development journey over the next 25 years.

Shah praised the achievements of the Modi government over the past decade, including the success of India’s space missions, responses to national security threats, and the effective distribution of COVID-19 vaccines to the entire population.

Shah encouraged widespread participation in the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign by flying the national flag and taking selfies, as per the prime minister’s appeal. He also promoted the use of khadi, aligning with PM Modi's call to revive traditional Indian textiles.
