During the visit, Ranjan conducted a comprehensive assessment of the overall security framework

He reviewed deployment plans, access control measures, communication networks, surveillance systems, medical support, and coordination among the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), Jammu and Kashmir Police, civil administration, and other stakeholders

As part of the inspection, Ranjan visited key security installations, including check posts; the communication center operated by the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF); Quick Reaction Teams (QRTs); Quick Action Teams (QATs); the CCTV control room; the Joint Police Control Room (JPCR); and logistics facilities

The DG also reviewed anti-sabotage measures, area domination plans, crowd management strategies, route security, and the preparedness of security agencies to respond swiftly to any emergency during the annual pilgrimage

Besides inspecting operational infrastructure, Ranjan also interacted with CISF personnel, visiting jawan barracks and pilgrim camps
