Thousands of devotees visited temples and sacred riverbanks from the early hours of the morning to offer prayers, perform rituals, and seek blessings for the well-being of their families.

Many devotees took holy dips in rivers and participated in special pujas dedicated to Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu.

Women were seen observing traditional rituals, including circumambulating sacred Peepal trees, which is believed to bring prosperity and longevity to their loved ones.

The day witnessed large gatherings at prominent temples and pilgrimage sites, with authorities making special arrangements to manage the influx of worshippers.
