IN PHOTOS: Floods affect villages across Uttar Pradesh

Uttar Pradesh has recorded 17 per cent less rainfall than normal so far this monsoon, receiving 418 mm against the normal 504.5 mm as of August 18, according to the Lucknow Regional Meteorological Centre. The IMD has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall across the state over the coming days, with extremely heavy rain possible in parts of eastern Uttar Pradesh. (PICS/PTI)
