The initiative received a good response from the tribal regions of Bhamragad, Aheri, Etapalli, Hedri, and Sironcha
Notably, students from newly established police assistance centres like Pengunda (25 students), Nelgunda (10 students), and Kawande (2 students) also took part in the practice test
So far, 27,950 students have benefitted from this test series, which aims to build confidence and interest among rural and tribal youth towards competitive exams such as Police Constable Recruitment, Forest Guard Exams, Talathi Recruitment, and MPSC Combined Examinations
This unique initiative, launched jointly by the Gadchiroli Police under the ‘Police Dadalora Khidki’ outreach program and Yashorath Competitive Exams Test Series, Mumbai, is designed to provide much-needed exposure and practice opportunities for students who often lack access to proper guidance, resources, or coaching due to their geographical isolation
Gadchiroli Superintendent of Police Neelotpal emphasised the importance of such initiatives in helping bridge the educational gap for youth in underdeveloped regions
