The graduating batch comprised Midshipmen from the 107th and 108th INA courses, along with cadets from the 38th, 39th, 40th, and 41st Naval Orientation Courses, including those from the Indian Coast Guard
Vice-Admiral V Srinivas, the head of the Southern Naval Command, reviewed the parade. The ceremony was also attended by Vice-Admiral CR Praveen Nair, the Commandant of the Indian Naval Academy, along with other senior naval officers and distinguished guests
Midshipman Nakul Saxena received the President’s Gold Medal for securing the top position in the INA B.Tech course, while the Rajya Raksha Mantri Trophy for the Most Promising Cadet was awarded to Midshipman Kiondo Michael Florence from Tanzania
Other notable awards included the FOC-in-C (South) Trophy, awarded to Midshipman Nithin S Nair for securing the highest merit among ex-NDA trainees. The Chief of Naval Staff Gold Medals were given to Cadet Pawar Rohit Prakash and Cadet Rajnish Singh for their outstanding performances in the Naval Orientation Course (Extended) and (Regular), respectively. Cadet Kommu David received the Director General Coast Guard Trophy
Vice-Admiral Srinivas praised the trainees for their discipline and performance, congratulated the medal winners and champion squadron, and appreciated the trainers and families for their support
The Cheetah Squadron was awarded the Commandant’s Champion Squadron Banner for excellence in academics, training, drill, sports and extracurriculars. After the parade, the reviewing officer and dignitaries commissioned the new officers, who will now begin specialised training at various naval establishments and ships
