The debate on Operation Sindoor, India’s response to the Pahalgam terror attack, continued until the late hours of Tuesday.
The Home Minister of India, Amit Shah, in the early hours of Tuesday, began the debate by highlighting the importance of Indian soldiers and various other forces that made the mission a huge success.
Samajwadi Party MP Akhilesh Yadav also criticised the government over its address on Operation Sindoor.
Wayanad MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra also criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying leadership is not just about taking credit but also about taking responsibility.
The Leader of the Opposition and senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, while addressing the lower house, stated, "We cannot afford a PM who doesn't have the courage to use the army the way it has to be used."
Just a few minutes after 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Prime Minister Modi also began his address in Parliament during the discussion on Operation Sindoor.
