Her last rites were performed at her native village of Dashavara in Channapatna Taluk of Mandya district in Karnataka

Speaking about her career, Siddaramaiah remarked that "B. Saroja Devi entered the film industry at a very young age and dedicated nearly 70 years to it. Early in her career, she earned the title 'Abhinaya Saraswati' and became a versatile actress, working in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi films"

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Ministers, Karnataka ministers, political leaders, and prominent figures from the Indian film industry all paid homage, acknowledging her lasting legacy and invaluable contributions to Indian cinema
