Several MPs from the INDIA bloc continued their protest against the Election Commission’s Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls in Bihar in the Parliament House complex on Friday. The other MPs present included TMC’s Abhishek Banerjee as well as lawmakers from DMK and the Left parties. They assembled near the Makar Dwar entrance of Parliament, holding placards and shouting slogans to demand the withdrawal of SIR

This marked the 13th day of demonstrations by the Opposition in the Parliament. The protest was paused only on Monday as the MPs condoled the demise of former Jharkhand Chief Minister Shibu Soren
