State minister Girish Mahajan visited the protest site and held discussions with the agitators. During the visit, he reportedly spoke with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and assured the protesters that a meeting would be convened in Mumbai before June 22

Rohit Pawar, along with other leaders, demanded the removal of conditions attached to Maharashtra's farmer loan waiver scheme

The NCP (SP) leader claimed that the loan waiver scheme, named after Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar, had become inaccessible to a large number of farmers due to restrictive eligibility criteria

Following the assurance, the hunger strike was suspended at the Namdev Steps in Pandharpur in the presence of fellow protestors

Rohit Pawar along with other protestors, stressed that the issue of farmers' loan waivers should rise above political differences and announced that a broad-based delegation would participate in the proposed meeting with the Chief Minister
