Samajwadi Party MPs held placards carrying the slogan "Chanda chor, gaddi chhod" as they demanded accountability over allegations of embezzlement involving donations collected for the Ayodhya Ram Mandir.

Several Opposition MPs also displayed posters reading "Amit Shah jawab do," seeking answers from the Union Home Minister over the July 20 police action against demonstrators.

The Ram Mandir donation controversy and the police action on protesters have remained key issues raised by Opposition parties throughout the ongoing Monsoon Session of Parliament.

Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut said questioning the alleged theft of temple donations and valuables should not be interpreted as being "anti-Ram," insisting the Opposition was seeking accountability.

Raut claimed donations, ornaments and other valuables from the Ram Temple were allegedly stolen, arguing that those raising the issue were unfairly being labelled as opponents of Lord Ram.

Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju accused the Congress, CPI and Samajwadi Party of consistently taking an "anti-Lord Ram" stand and criticised their protests over the temple donation controversy.

The exchange between the government and the Opposition further intensified the political confrontation in Parliament, with both sides trading sharp allegations over the Ram Mandir donation issue and related protests.
