Jama Masjid, officially known as Masjid-i-Jahan Numa, is one of Delhi’s most prominent historic mosques. Built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan and completed in 1656, the mosque is known for its imposing red sandstone and white marble architecture, grand domes and towering minarets. Located in Old Delhi, it remains an important landmark and a major place of worship.
