Ahead of the commencement of the Monsoon Session, Uttar Pradesh Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana said the state government would present a supplementary budget to provide additional allocations for welfare schemes and expenditure heads that emerged after the annual budget

As Samajwadi Party legislators protested outside the Uttar Pradesh Assembly over the alleged Ram Temple donation embezzlement, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath claimed that they had "not contributed a single penny from their own pockets" towards the temple's construction

The Uttar Pradesh Assembly Session began today, and according to Speaker Satish Mahana, the state government will present a supplementary budget to provide additional allocations for welfare schemes and expenditure heads that have emerged after the passage of the annual Budget. The session will end on August 6

The Ram Temple donation theft controversy was expected to be raised in the House as well.
