According to Dr Satish Lamba of the Delhi Medical Association, Wangchuk's weight dropped by 350 grams in the last 24 hours, taking it to 56.55 kg. His blood pressure was recorded at 108/68 mmHg, blood sugar at 70 mg/dL and pulse rate at 72 beats per minute. Doctors said he is experiencing mild dehydration and remains under round-the-clock medical supervision

Addressing a press conference on Friday, Dr Lamba warned that Wangchuk's prolonged fast had entered a critical phase. He explained that the body had already progressed from fat loss to muscle loss and ketone formation, and that organ involvement was now a possibility

The medical team, he said, was maintaining continuous monitoring of his condition

Earlier in the day, Congress leader Pawan Khera visited Wangchuk at Jantar Mantar and voiced concern about his health. Extending support to the protest, Khera reiterated the demand for accountability and transparency in examinations

Abhijit Dipke, one of the protest organisers, welcomed Khera's visit and said the movement transcended political affiliations. He maintained that Wangchuk was continuing the fast voluntarily and remained determined to continue until accountability was fixed in the education system.
