The families of the victims of Air India flight AI171 gathered in distress at Ahmedabad Civil Hospital, seeking information about their loved ones who lost their lives in Thursday's tragic plane crash. The Boeing Dreamliner aicraft crashed into a medical college complex outside the Ahmedabad airport perimeter shortly after takeoff at 1.39 pm. On Friday evening, investigators confirmed that they have received the black box, a small device that records information about an aircraft during its flight, from the rooftop of the medical college. Authorities are hoping that the black box will help them in establishing the cause behind the mishap
