The police intervened to disperse the gathering that had blocked the Amravati-Nagpur road near the factory entrance. Security measures were heightened to maintain order.

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis expressed condolences and announced an ex-gratia relief of Rs 5 lakh to the families of the deceased. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde approved this decision.

The incident led to the loss of nine lives, including six women, at Solar Industries, a company involved in manufacturing drones and explosives for the armed forces.

Fadnavis assured full support from the state government to the families affected by this unfortunate incident, emphasizing solidarity during this grievous time.
